Travelling for work is one of my favourite parts of this job. It allows me to investigate new places, experience different working cultures and see some beautiful venues.
I have recently showcalled in Barcelona, Copenhagen, Rome, Amsterdam, Zurich, Berlin, Paris, Hong Kong and Singapore. Sometimes the event will be so demanding that I do not get much down time to explore but I try to do a whistle stop tour of each place I visit.
During a recent trip to Zurich the team and I ended up in Raclette Stube which is a local restaurant that specialises in Cheese Fondue. It was here that I learned that pear and cheese make for a delicious pairing. You will have to try it to believe me!
